Chronology of cameras Canon
Although it resembles a DSLR, especially from the back, the Powershot Pro 70 is a compact camera with a large zoom. The optical viewfinder is very simple and runs through the entire camera, extending above the front lens. This gives it a peculiar appearance. The use of a different color for the plastic of the zoom makes it even more prominent. Since the viewfinder doesn't show what is being photographed at certain focal lengths, the screen must be used. The zoom has limited range: 28 - 70 mm.
There is no built-in flash. This model is designed to use, for example, the Canon Speedlite 380EX flash, which has a zoom head that adapts to the zoom focal length. Two slots are dedicated to CompactFlash cards.
Two shooting modes are available: "green" mode, where everything is automatic without the option to choose file resolution, and a "Pro" mode that allows selection of file quality (including Raw format), shooting speed (by sacrificing maximum resolution), and aperture value.
